District of Columbia Lemon Laws

District of Columbia Lemon Laws cover "Any vehicle sold or registered that is designed for transporting persons. Excludes buses, motorcycles, motor homes and recreational vehicles."

Manufacturers are entitled to 4 repair attempts or 30 days out of service before it qualifies under District of Columbia Law as a Lemon.

Cars are covered under the District of Columbia Lemon Law for 2 years or 18,000 miles.
