Illinois Lemon Laws

Illinois Lemon Laws cover "New cars. Light trucks and vans under 8,000 pounds. Recreational vehicles excluding trailers. Excludes motorcycles."

Manufacturers are entitled to 4 repair attempts or 30 business days out of service before it qualifies under Illinois Law as a Lemon.

Cars are covered under the Illinois  Lemon Law for 1 year or 12,000 miles.
