Gold, silver and rare earth; which is right for you?
Gold, silver & rare earth
Which has the strongest trend right now?
In today’s video we will be looking at the gold market, analyzing the silver market, and finally, checking into the rare earth market.
Before you look at the video, you may want to consider doing this as an exercise: Write down which market has the strongest trend – up or down. Then rate the markets. Number 1 ……..Number 2 …….Number 3 ……. Once you see the video it will become clear to you how we rate these markets. It might surprise you.
If you’re using MarketClub’s “Trade Triangle” technology the answer is simple and you’ll discover it in a matter of seconds. If you haven’t used our “Trade Triangle” technology, this will be a good exercise for you to look and see just how powerful this technology is and how it can help your trading.
We all know that gold has had a big move, but so have silver and rare earth stocks. So what’s next? Continue reading

Continue To Conquer The Market
You only have to watch my earlier videos to see that it has performed very well this week in gold as well as the crude. In today’s short video I want to share an ETF that is setting up nicely and should be giving us a buy signal using the same strategy that we used in the earlier gold and crude oil videos.
This ETF which closely follows the Swiss Franc (symbol FXF) is one you may want to take a look at. As you may be aware, the Swiss Franc is independent of the euro zone and is a separate currency that is backed by the Swiss government.
I think you’ll enjoy this short lesson as it will reinforce the two previous lessons on how to use this indicator. In case you missed our earlier lessons, you can watch the gold and the crude oil videos on the INO Trader’s Blog.
As always our videos are free to watch and there are no registration requirements. Feel free to discuss them on the INO blog, Tweet them to your friends, and e-mail anyone that you think could benefit from these educational trading lessons. Continue reading
3 Smart Indicators To Trade Crude Oil With Synergism
Now that we have “Silly Season” behind us, it’s time to get serious about trading
In today’s video we are looking at crude oil. This market has been a disappointment to a lot of traders as has remained in a broad trading range for the past 18 months.
The current trading range will eventually be broken and the market will move in the direction of the breakout. While our long-term indicator, the monthly “Trade Triangle” continues to be positive, short-term “Trade Triangles” are indicating weakness. With a score of -60 for February crude oil, we expect that this market will be range bound in the short term.
One of the indicators we discussed in an earlier video is in an oversold condition, indicating a potential rally from current levels could be at hand. That being said we would wait for some other combination of indicators to confirm that a move is underway. Continue reading
What’s Ahead in the Crude Oil Market
There’s no question about it, 2010 has been pretty difficult for most traders in the crude oil market. This year has produced no discernible, lasting trends in this market. The trends it has produced have lasted little more than just 3 or 4 weeks at best.
So what’s ahead for this market?
In today’s short video we examine the fact that crude oil briefly traded over $90 a barrel before falling back. So what made the crude oil market reverse course and fall back? Was it selling, was it profit taking, a technical point, or something else?We are examining crude oil in detail using a tool that we think is very appropriate for this type of market at the moment.
We have not discussed this technical indicator in any of our previous videos and I think when you see how it works and how you can use it your own trading, you will be pretty impressed. Continue reading
Is gold stuck between a rock and a hard place?
The gold market has been pushing out its normal level of frustration and anxiety for the past several weeks.

So the question becomes, is the gold market pausing to move higher, and of course the Bulls would argue this, or is it forming the head and shoulders top that many technicians are looking for? Of course, this would be a bearish sign for gold if this technical formation is completed.
I’ve just finished a short video that shows you what we’re looking at right now in gold and how I think it is going to be resolved. The video is a little over 2 minutes. It’s quick and to the point while supplying you with what you need to take your place in or out of this market.
Watch the video here: Is gold stuck between a rock and a hard place? Continue reading
Perception Is Everything
It’s more important to the market than Ireland, Greece, Portugal, and Spain combined
The trials and tribulations of these four countries (that have run up huge deficits) have been well known for quite some time. What is more important in my opinion is not the size of the debt, which is staggering, but rather what is going on with market perception.
Market perception trumps everything else out there. Market perception trumps market fundamentals every time. Market perception is the one card that the government cannot control. It is the card that can potentially give the individual trader an edge. Continue reading
Has the price of gold reached its zenith?
Today we are going to be looking at gold and analyze the recent run-up that has created a great deal of excitement and fear for many investors and traders.
We’re also going to be looking at some upside measurements that we have for this market. Conversely, we are also looking at an area that should provide support should the gold market pull back from its current levels.
In this new video we are going to be focusing on our “Trade Triangle” technology and what it means for traders. We will explore short-term, intermediate-term, and long-term trading in this precious metal. This will all be done using our “Trade Triangles.” Continue reading
Let the carnival begin!
Today’s new video is on the iShares Brazil ETF. The market is shaping up nicely and just broke thorough resistance to the upside and is continuing up today.
Here is a market that we like a lot more than the US market. We really like the way its acting and it looks set to take out the highs that were seen in December of 2009. If that is the case, then we could see this market make all-time highs pretty quickly. You definitely want to have this one on your radar screen.
In this new short video, I show you what I’m looking at and how we showcased this market last week when we did our last webinar. This webinar is set to be rebroadcast on Friday, September 24th at 5pm EST/9pm GMT.
Why Weekly Charts Work
Many traders get so involved with the market on a daily or even an intraday basis, that they somehow lose out on the bigger picture. Weekly charts are enormously helpful in giving clues to the future direction of the market.
In today’s video we examine one of the biggest markets in the world, the S&P 500, using a weekly chart. The video runs about two minutes in length and I think you will find it both educational and informative.
As always our videos are free to watch and there are no registration requirements.
Enjoy the video and be sure to share your thoughts. Continue reading
